Commercial Driver License Training and Testing - Multiple Districts

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking a contractor to provide Commercial Driver License (CDL) training and testing services for TxDOT employees in multiple districts, including El Paso, Odessa, San Angelo, Childress, and Corpus Christi. The successful respondent will be responsible for providing instructors and equipment to conduct Class A manual CDL trainings at approved Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration training sites in Texas. Services will include a Commercial Learner’s Permit/Theory class and behind-the-wheel Entry Level Driver Training with third-party testing. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing CDL training and testing services for TxDOT employees • Conducting Class A manual CDL trainings at approved FMCSA training sites • Including a Commercial Learner’s Permit/Theory class and behind-the-wheel Entry Level Driver Training with third-party testing • Coordinating enrollment and scheduling with TxDOT’s Workforce Development team • Providing services exclusively tailored to TxDOT employees
