Description
The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking a contractor to perform repairs and replacement of the Downs Pumping Unit and generator. The work includes mobilization, removal, repair, and reinstallation of two pumping units, flexible hose-type grease lines, and commissioning of pumping units according to manufacturer specifications. The contractor will also purchase and replace the existing generator. The period of performance is 180 days after contract award. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible vendor whose quotation represents the best value to the Government, considering both non-price factors and price.
• The contractor must have experience with similar pump repair projects.
• The contractor must provide a complete price schedule and company experience requirements.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to safety and health.
• The contractor must provide a written proposed safety program if required.
• The contractor must report all cases of death, occupational diseases, or traumatic injury to employees or the public involved, and property damage.
