Description
The NYC Department of Sanitation is seeking a qualified contractor to provide routine X‑ray examinations with radiological interpretation for its pre‑employment medical screening program. The contractor must operate accredited imaging facilities, schedule candidates quickly, ensure identity verification, deliver images and written reports within 48 hours, maintain secure online access for at least three years, and be able to provide expert‑witness testimony when required. The contract is a five‑year service agreement (with one optional three‑year renewal) and will serve approximately 1,200 candidates per year.
• Perform chest and lumbar‑sacral spine X‑ray exams, plus any additional studies requested on DS 412 forms.
• Provide written radiology reports and electronic image delivery within two business days of the exam.
• Maintain radiation safety, equipment calibration, patient privacy, and record‑keeping compliance for a minimum of three years.
• No subcontracting is permitted; all services must be performed by the contractor’s own staff.
