Description
The Uptown Butte Business Improvement District is seeking a qualified contractor to provide professional snow removal services for sidewalks within the Central Business District. The selected contractor will be responsible for clearing snow from all sidewalks, providing snow removal services promptly after one inch of snow, and ensuring that sidewalks remain passable throughout the winter season. The contractor will also be required to provide all labor, equipment, and materials required for snow removal and ice control, maintain appropriate staffing levels, and communicate with the BID regarding storm response times and completion of service.
• The service area includes sidewalks along major commercial corridors in Uptown Butte.
• The contractor will be required to carry adequate liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage.
• The contract term is for the 2025–2026 winter season, with potential for renewal.
• Proposals will be evaluated based on the contractor's experience and references, availability of equipment and personnel, responsiveness and reliability, cost-effectiveness and clarity of pricing structure, and ability to meet insurance and safety requirements.
