Description

The Bay County Board of County Commissioners is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide disaster debris removal and disposal monitoring services. The selected vendor will be responsible for monitoring at least five debris loading sites and up to ten personnel to monitor disaster debris management sites (DDMS)/disposal sites located in Bay County, Florida. Key aspects of the proposal include: • Experience with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance Program, Florida Department of Emergency Management (FDEM), and other applicable federal, state, and local programs • Ability to provide personnel to monitor debris loading sites and DDMS/disposal sites • Ability to estimate the volume of debris being delivered by trucks to each DDMS/disposal site • Ability to provide all management, supervision, labor, transportation, and equipment necessary to support the operations of the field supervisor(s), debris loading and tower/site monitors, and clerical staff • Compliance with Federal Regulations Contract Requirements

Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

The dollar amount range that our client might expect to earn if they win the bid and do the job is difficult to estimate, as the RFP does not provide a specific budget or payment amount. However, considering the scope of work, which includes monitoring at least five debris loading sites and up to ten personnel to monitor disaster debris management sites, the contract value could be substantial. Assuming the contract will be awarded for a period of 180 days, and considering the labor, equipment, and other costs associated with providing these services, a rough estimate for the contract value could be between $500,000 and $2,000,000. This estimate is highly speculative and may be influenced by various factors, including the number of sites to be monitored, the volume of debris to be handled, and the level of expertise required.
