The Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) is seeking qualified vendors to provide removal and processing payment of recyclable metal from various collection locations throughout the five boroughs of New York City. The contract will have a term of 3 years with an option for renewal. The vendor will be required to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the removal and processing of scrap metal. The vendor will also be required to weigh the scrap metal at a certified weigh scale and provide a weight ticket for each load. The city estimates that the contract value will be around $1,500,000.00.
