Description
Bristol Community College is seeking proposals for the provision of reliable bus transportation for the College athletic teams to and from sporting events. The contract will cover the actual needs of the College throughout the term of the contract, which is expected to be three years with the option to renew for an additional three years. The successful bidder will be required to provide modern, clean, and environmentally controlled buses, as well as experienced and licensed bus drivers. The bidder will also be required to maintain liability insurance and provide certificates of insurance to the College.
Key requirements include:
• Providing buses that are large enough to carry team members and equipment at one time, with a minimum capacity of 27 persons
• Maintaining a regular maintenance schedule for the buses
• Providing experienced and licensed bus drivers
• Maintaining liability insurance with coverage limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence for commercial general liability and $5,000,000 per occurrence for commercial vehicle liability
• Providing certificates of insurance to the College
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to taxes, reporting of employees and contractors, and withholding and remitting child support
