Air Handling Unit Renovations at the High Point Detention Center

The Guilford County Purchasing Department is seeking bids for Air Handling Unit Renovations at the High Point Detention Center. The project involves providing services for the renovation of air handling units at the detention center. A non-mandatory pre-proposal ZoomGov meeting will be held on August 18, 2026, and a mandatory site walkthrough will be conducted on the same day. Bidding documents, drawings, and specifications are available on Guilford County's Vendor Self Service automated bidding system. Respondents or their sub-contractors must be licensed to perform all fields of required work in North Carolina. • The project requires a bid bond, cashiers check or certified check payable to Guilford County in the amount of not less than 5% of the bid. • A performance and payment bond will be required from the awarded contractor for 100% of the contract price. • Guilford County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
