Bid Extension: Request for Expressions of Interest for DEP Residuals

The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking expressions of interest for the removal, transportation, and disposal of residuals from various DEP wastewater resource recovery facilities and other DEP facilities. The purpose of this request is to gather information from vendors and solicit feedback on how to improve the specifications and pricing for this work. The scope of work includes providing all necessary labor, parts, materials, and equipment for the removal, transportation, and disposal of residuals on an as-needed basis. • The contractor will be responsible for delivering empty roll-off containers to the sites and picking up filled containers. • The contractor will be required to dispose of residuals at DEP-approved disposal facilities. • The contractor will be paid per ton of residuals removed, transported, and disposed of. • The contract will include provisions for emergency services and allowance payments for certain situations.
