Description
Pelham Union Free School District is seeking a qualified construction testing and special inspection agency to provide comprehensive inspection, testing, and reporting services for its multi‑phase 2025 Capital Improvement Bond projects across five occupied school facilities. The work includes soil compaction, concrete, structural steel, masonry, fire‑proofing, asphalt, curtain‑wall, and ADA‑related inspections, all performed by certified personnel and overseen by a NY‑state licensed Professional Engineer. The agency must respond within a 24‑hour notice window, submit daily and weekly reports, and upload data to Procore, while maintaining extensive insurance coverage and complying with NYSED and Uniform Code requirements.
• Perform all required testing and special inspections for HVAC, roofing, masonry, window replacement, and the Siwanoy Elementary expansion.
• Provide certified inspectors (ACI, ICC, AWS, NY‑PE) capable of simultaneous discipline coverage and rapid on‑site response (≤ 24 hrs).
• Deliver daily signed reports, weekly copies to Owner, Construction Manager, and Architect, and upload to Procore within 24 hrs; maintain a special‑inspection book for project life.
• Meet extensive insurance and licensing requirements; submit full qualifications, references, and unit‑price schedule with proposal.
• Contract term is multi‑year with up to three annual renewals, supporting the project timeline through 2030.
