Description
The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) is seeking a qualified materials testing firm to provide materials testing services for the Southside Water Reclamation Facility expansion project. The project includes the design of replacement and upgraded treatment facilities, and the selected firm will be expected to test materials for specified conditions and report results. The firm will coordinate with CFPUA's contracted engineering consultants/inspectors but report directly to CFPUA.
• The project is located at 3436 River Rd, Wilmington, NC, and the existing 12 MGD treatment plant will be expanded to 20 MGD.
• The selected firm will be expected to provide materials testing services, including soils testing, pavement testing, concrete testing, and structural steel testing.
• The firm will be evaluated based on their experience, knowledge, and familiarity with materials testing, specifically related to large water and wastewater treatment plants expansions.
• The firm must meet the insurance requirements, including General Liability, Workers Compensation, Auto Liability Insurance, and Professional Liability.
