On Call Construction Management Services (Multiyear Contract)

The County of DeKalb, GA is seeking proposals for On Call Construction Management Services to support the Department of Watershed Management's Capital Improvement Program. The selected consultant will provide construction management and inspection services on an as-needed basis. The scope of work includes pre-construction services, construction inspection and field services, meetings, and progress reports. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are managed in accordance with the approved construction contract documents, technical specifications, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Key aspects of the job include: • Reviewing construction contract documents and design documents • Providing written recommendations to the County and Engineer • Assisting the County in responding to pre-bid inquiries • Supporting the DWM Project Manager in drafting construction-related portions of solicitation addenda • Coordinating technical inspection and testing services • Maintaining a complete and current set of project documents • Tracking the Contractor's progress and logging relevant data • Performing post-work Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) reviews to verify completed work • Reviewing Contractor's submitted monthly payment requests for compliance with the construction Contract Documents
