Description
The Sequoia Union High School District seeks a qualified contractor to provide district‑wide elevator maintenance for all of its K‑12 facilities. The contract is a three‑year service agreement (renewable) that requires full‑service preventive maintenance, emergency response, and compliance testing (Category 1, 3, 5) on both electric and hydraulic elevators, as well as platform lifts. The contractor must submit a detailed work plan, cost proposal, and required certifications, and must meet California prevailing‑wage and licensing requirements.
• Perform quarterly inspections, annual Category 1 safety tests, triennial Category 3 hydraulic tests, and quinquennial Category 5 load tests on every elevator and LULA in the district.
• Provide all labor, materials, tools, permits, and licensing fees; develop a five‑year maintenance plan at contract start.
• Supply detailed service logs, quarterly and annual condition reports, and immediate notification of any unsafe conditions with written quotations for out‑of‑scope work.
• Must hold a valid California C‑11 Elevator Contractor license, be a registered public‑works contractor, and carry required insurance and bonds.
• Submission must be made electronically via SecureBids by March 30, 2026 2:00 PM PT; questions are due by March 23, 2026.
