Direct Internet Access

The Weld County School District 6 is seeking a vendor to provide a second Direct Internet Access (DIA) circuit and BGP connection to their Network Operations Center (NOC) head-end site. The proposal must include pricing for 3, 5, and 10-year contract terms, as well as a description of the services to be provided, technical details, and a proposed Service Level Agreement (SLA). The selected vendor will be responsible for terminating the service in an existing network closet designated by the District. The District requires the ability to increase the connection speed during the contract period without increasing the length of the contract. • The proposal must include all options for a 5 Gbps DIA fiber connection at the Network Operations Center. • The proposal must include the annual cost for operation, maintenance, and any additional cost associated with the service. • The proposal must include a description of the services to be provided, including any required construction, and a timeline for completion of every phase of work necessary to demonstrate service delivery by January 2, 2026. • The proposal must include a proposed SLA, including a description of the services provided, frame/packet loss, network latency, and network jitter commitments, and 24x7x365 trouble-reporting procedures.
