Pre-Qualification of Contractors to Fabricate and Install Vancouver Sign

The City of Vancouver is seeking expressions of interest from construction and fabrication firms to be shortlisted for the fabrication, installation, and complete civil works for a permanent outdoor "Vancouver" sign. The sign is to be installed at 999 Canada Place - East Plaza by May 2026. The scope of work includes pre-construction services, construction and fabrication services, and post-construction services. • Experience working on roof structures/membranes • Experience integrating 2D Local First Nations art into a 3D built form • Provision of submittals in response to a Notice of Award • Acting as Prime Contractor • Coordinating and completing third-party work • Experience and capability to complete electrical and drainage work • Traffic management • Ability to meet reporting requirements
