Description
The Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, is seeking information from potential contractors to provide washer and dryer lease and maintenance services. The services will be performed at various buildings on the base, and the contractor will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing the washers and dryers. The contractor will also be required to provide operational instructions and signs for the equipment. The government is seeking a firm-fixed price contract with a period of performance to be determined.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing new commercial washers and dryers for lease
• Maintaining and repairing the equipment
• Installing and connecting the equipment to government-owned utility service connection points
• Providing operational instructions and signs for the equipment
• Coordinating with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for delivery and maintenance of the leased units
• Complying with all local base/installation security procedures
• Maintaining a service call/job order record of all equipment issues requiring maintenance, repair, or replacement.
