Phased Critical Water System Seismic Engineering & Planning Services

The City of Seattle is seeking a consultant team to perform phased critical water system seismic engineering and planning services. The selected team will conduct detailed seismic assessments, structural evaluations, and develop design concepts for water system assets identified as seismically vulnerable. The scope of work includes reviewing past studies, conducting field evaluations, performing non-destructive field analyses, and creating planning level cost estimates. The consultant team will also provide recommendations for seismic/structural facility upgrades and other repairs. • The City intends to execute a phased contract with an estimated value of work ranging from $3,000,000 to $5,000,000. • The contract duration is estimated to be 5 years. • The City reserves the right to modify the contract amount and duration based on available funding, scope of work, and vendor capacity. • The consultant team must include professional engineers and structural engineers licensed in the state of Washington. • The City requires a plan for including minority- and women-owned firms in the consultant team.
