Description
Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide elevator inspection, testing, maintenance, and repairs services for 18 passenger and 4 freight elevators and 3 chair lifts located across its main Asheville Campus and its Candler-Enka Campus. The contract term is for one year, with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year terms. The scope of work includes providing full-service maintenance, including services and goods, for the elevators and chair lifts.
• The elevators and chair lifts are located across two campuses, with varying installation dates and capacities.
• The contract requires the vendor to provide annual full-service maintenance costs for each elevator, as well as pricing for 5-year load testing and hourly labor rates for services not covered under the contract.
• The vendor must also provide certifications, including a certification of financial condition and a HUB supplemental vendor information form.
• The contract is subject to North Carolina General Terms and Conditions, as well as federal laws and regulations.
