IFB #1192199 - Underground Utility Locating Services

The Montgomery County Government is seeking a contractor to provide underground utility locating services. The scope of work includes identifying, locating, and demarcating underground utilities, specifically ICBN Fiber Optics, to safeguard them from excavation damages. The contractor will be required to respond to Request Tickets for Investigation (RTI) issued by Miss Utility, investigate and confirm the presence or absence of underground utilities, and provide demarcation/re-demarcation services as needed. The contractor must also maintain utility location markings and provide records of their services. • The contractor must respond to all Emergency Notices immediately. • The contractor must provide services within a maximum of two-foot horizontal and vertical accuracy. • The contractor must maintain utility location markings at no additional charge to Montgomery County as required by code. • The contractor must accurately monitor, record, and communicate its services as required by Miss Utility and this SOW.
