Description
The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a qualified contractor to provide a uniform program for Fire Rescue, Animal Care & Control, and Palm Tran. The contractor will be responsible for supplying professional garments, accessories, shoes, and providing a full-time seamstress for sizing, alterations, and embroidery. The contract will be for a period of 36 months with two optional 12-month renewal periods. The contractor must have experience in supplying similar services and meet all the criteria and requirements outlined in the RFP.
• The uniform program will include garments such as trousers, button-down shirts, polo-style shirts, skirts, ties, athletic shorts, t-shirts, ball caps, belts, work boots, dress shoes, foul weather coats/jackets, and cold weather garments.
• The contractor will also provide various equipment, including department patches, metal insignias, metal name plates, and badges in assorted ranks and designs.
• The contractor must have a storefront or service center and provide computer hardware and software for inventory management and online ordering.
• The contractor must also have a full-time seamstress on staff to provide sizing, alterations, and embroidery.
