Description
The University is seeking a qualified contractor to supply, deliver, and install a complete water‑softener system for Legacy Hall, including pump, VFD, tanks, brine, salt storage, piping, insulation, and control wiring. The contractor must perform a single‑day tie‑in to existing campus water piping during one of two designated windows and ensure the system is installed to university standards, with a three‑year warranty and compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Supply and install a TACO SCX1700 pump, Yaskawa or Square D VFD, 24″×72″ softener tank, 24″×50″ brine tank, and ≈550 lb salt storage.
• Complete all piping, insulation, concrete base, and electrical work per university drawings; tie‑ins must be done in one day during Dec 18‑22 2017 or Jan 3‑5 2018.
• Provide required bid documentation (bid bond, HUB subcontracting plan, insurance, W‑9, vendor affidavit) and meet net‑30 payment terms.
