Description
The California Department of Transportation is seeking a certified Small Business, Micro‑Business, or Disabled‑Veteran Business Enterprise to provide full‑service underground storage tank (UST) operation and maintenance for the Rosa Parks Memorial Building in San Bernardino. The contractor will be responsible for monthly visual inspections, annual leak‑monitor certifications, periodic over‑fill‑prevention testing, on‑site training, routine and non‑routine repairs, and the procurement of parts, materials, and permits. All work must comply with state environmental regulations, prevailing‑wage rules (if bid > $15 k), and the Darfur Contracting Act, with no subcontracting permitted.
• Mandatory site‑inspection attendance (either 10 Oct 2026 or 20 Oct 2026) is required for eligibility.
• Bid must be submitted electronically by 27 Oct 2026 2:00 PM; questions are due by 7 Oct 2026 5:00 PM.
• Contractor must hold a valid CSLB C‑61/D‑40 license, a California UST System Operator certificate, and be within 60 mi of the project site.
