The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is seeking bids for the construction of a 1440 SF modular medical office with attached covered porch at the Gaston C.C. facility. The project includes structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, civil work, utility extensions to the building, security fencing, concrete work, masonry, and other work as indicated in the Contract Documents. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on 1/8/2026, at 11:00 AM at the project site. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond and a payment bond for 100% of the contract price. • The project requires a single prime contract. • The bid must be accompanied by a cash deposit or a certified check of at least 5% of the proposal. • The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. • The project is subject to North Carolina licensing requirements for general contractors. • The bidder must include the form Identification of Minority Business Participation with the bid proposal.
