Description
The Alabama Department of Public Health County Health Department is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive janitorial services for its facilities. The scope includes daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks covering waiting areas, teller lines, offices, conference rooms, break rooms, training rooms, and restrooms. The contract requires a continuously updated employee list, on‑site supervision, strict security and key‑control procedures, rapid remediation of any cleaning deficiencies (within 1–2 hours), and a prohibition on subcontracting. No subcontracting and a mandatory site visit are stipulated, and the vendor must use high‑coefficient disinfectants and color‑coded microfiber cloths.
• Daily cleaning: trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, floor care, restroom restocking and disinfection.
• Weekly cleaning: deep dusting of vertical surfaces, baseboards, vending machines, blinds, and additional floor care.
• Monthly cleaning: high‑dusting up to 12 ft and fingerprint removal around light switches and door frames.
• Administrative requirements: daily sign‑in/out sheets, daily cleaning checklists, provision of product/equipment lists, and full responsibility for lost keys or re‑keying costs.
