The City of Norfolk is seeking a qualified firm to design, fabricate, and install a single‑faced illuminated “Ocean View” gateway sign at the intersection of 4th View Street and W. Ocean View Avenue. The scope includes: • Removal of four existing flagpoles and their below‑grade foundations, turning over materials to the City. • Design and construction of concrete foundations for the new sign, complying with local utility clearances (sewer, gas, electric, etc.). • Provision of sealed engineering drawings and coordination with a licensed structural engineer for seismic and wind criteria. • Fabrication of stainless‑steel or aluminum sign components, including vitreous‑enamel graphic panels, backlit channel letters, and LED wall‑grazing lights. • Installation of new electric power supply, conduit, and a photocell‑controlled lighting system, with all required inspections, permits, and shop‑drawing approvals. • Turnkey delivery of the completed sign system. Landscape and site‑work are excluded.
