The Nevada State Purchasing Division on behalf of the Nevada Health Authority is seeking proposals for Non-Emergency Transportation Brokerage Services. The selected Contractor shall ensure eligible Medicaid recipients have access to non-emergency transportation services delivered by Medicaid-enrolled providers in an appropriate and cost-effective manner. Key aspects of the job include:
• Coordinating, managing, and reimbursing non-emergency transportation services for Medicaid recipients.
• Providing tiered levels of transport to meet the recipient’s medical or behavioral health needs.
• Ensuring the transportation services made available through the program are uniform in scope and duration throughout the state, aligned with the best interests of Medicaid beneficiaries, and timely, cost-effective, and efficient.
• Facilitating all necessary transition activities at no cost prior to the effective date of the contract.
