CDBG Home Repair Program 2025-26 Request for Qualifications

The City of Pontiac is seeking qualified contractors to perform residential repairs on up to 20 single-family homes owned by low- to moderate-income residents. The repairs will focus on health, safety, accessibility, and code compliance. Contractors will be selected based on their experience, qualifications, and proposal. The contract term will be for one year with two one-year renewal options. • The scope of work includes home repairs such as foundations, framing, electrical, plumbing, and interior and exterior finishes. • Contractors must be licensed, insured, and have experience with similar projects. • The City reserves the right to cancel the solicitation, reject any or all proposals, and waive any irregularities. • The evaluation criteria include experience, licensing, reputation, financial stability, workmanship quality, and communication.
