Tires, Tubes, and Tire Repair Services

The City of Lincoln and Lancaster County are soliciting bids for Tires, Tubes, and Tire Repair Services. The contract will be for one year, starting March 3, 2026, with the option to renew for three additional one-year terms. Bidders must submit their Master Price List, which will be the basis of pricing, and provide proof of being an Authorized Distributor for each brand of tire bid. The contractor must be qualified and equipped to mount new tires and tubes, repair flats, and provide other tire-related services. Key requirements include providing high-quality tires, meeting DOT specifications, and having a quality control system in place. • The contractor must have adequate service centers throughout the City/County. • The contractor must be able to provide tire repair and maintenance services, including mounting, balancing, and rotating. • The contractor must be able to provide a list of at least three references where the proposed tires have been in use for enforcement/emergency, ambulances, fire trucks, agencies, and transit agency for at least two to three years. • The contractor must be able to provide a certificate with an authorized signature of the Tire Manufacturer stating the contractor is an Authorized Distributor for each brand of tire referenced on their bid proposal.
