Town of Wytheville: Secondary Clarifier Replacement Project

The Town of Wytheville is seeking bids for the Secondary Clarifier Replacement Project at the Wytheville Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project includes demolition of existing secondary clarifiers, excavation, construction of two new cast-in-place concrete secondary clarifier tanks, and installation of new piping and electrical equipment. The work site is located at 852 Atkins Mill Road, Wytheville, VA 24382. Key components of the project include: • Demolition of existing secondary clarifiers no. 3 and 4 and piping • Construction of two new, cast-in-place concrete, 60-ft diameter secondary clarifier tanks • Installation of new 16-inch clarifier influent, 14-inch clarifier effluent, 8-inch sludge, and 6-inch scum and 6-inch drain below grade piping • Provision of new electrical equipment including Clarifier Control Panels, associated wiring, conduits, and connections • Provision of all valves, bends, couplings as shown on the contract drawings or as needed
