Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Puget Sound Health Care System, is seeking a contractor to provide laundry and linen services. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, supervision, management, supplies, and facilities necessary to perform bulk laundry services and tasks required under this contract. The scope of work includes laundry services for hospital linens, employee uniforms, and laboratory coats, as well as the installation, support, maintenance, and management of a secure scrub vault program. The contract will be for a base period of one year, with four option years. The contractor must provide a detailed narrative of how they intend to meet the 24-hour turnaround and process an average of approximately 3600 lbs. of combined VA-owned and contractor-owned linen per day.
