Notice to Sole Source for Preventive maintenance of Hoover Pumping Systems

The City of Port St. Lucie is seeking to establish a term contract for preventive maintenance of Hoover Pumping systems. The services will be performed twice annually at each pump station to ensure reliable operation, extend equipment life, and reduce the risk of system failure. The scope of work includes scheduled inspections, servicing, and upkeep of all pump stations to ensure reliable performance, minimize downtime, and extend equipment life. • The contract is for a one-year term, with an estimated expenditure of $55,671.07. • The vendor, Hoover Pumping Systems, is the original manufacturer and only vendor with the proprietary specifications, OEM parts, and factory-trained expertise required to service the City's installed Hoover Pump equipment. • The City has reviewed local and regional pump service providers and confirmed that none are authorized to service Hoover Pumping systems or access the proprietary computer controls used in the irrigation pump stations.
