Description
The Los Angeles County Internal Services Department is seeking a consultant to develop a practical training toolkit for faith-based institutions to establish dementia family support groups. The consultant will also host a live training event, pilot the toolkit with at least one institution, and produce a summary report with findings and recommendations for refinement and scale-up. The project is funded by the LA BOLD grant and must be completed by September 29, 2026.
• The consultant will develop a comprehensive toolkit that includes training materials, resources, and support for faith-based institutions to establish dementia family support groups.
• The consultant will host a live training event to launch and orient participants to the toolkit.
• The consultant will pilot the toolkit with at least one institution to gather real-world feedback.
• The consultant will produce a summary report with findings and recommendations for refinement and scale-up.
