Description
The South Hadley Electric Light Department (SHELD) is seeking qualified vendors to provide Fiber to the Premise (FTTP) installation services and FTTP on-call services for Internet and Voice Services for Fiberspring. The contract will require the vendor to provide both installation and on-call services.
• The vendor must provide a bid security deposit consisting of a bid bond, cash, or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid price.
• A labor and materials bond in the amount equal to 50% of the total amount of the contract price will be required.
• The vendor must comply with applicable public bidding laws of Massachusetts.
• A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held virtually on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST.
