The Brick Township Board of Education is seeking qualified firms or individuals to deliver Assistive Technology (AT) and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) services to pre‑K‑12 students across all district schools. The vendor must provide professional staffing, conduct evaluations, develop recommendations, train staff, and supply low‑, mid‑ and high‑tech AT solutions on‑site. The contract is structured as up to three consecutive one‑year terms, with the first term beginning July 1 2026. Compliance requirements include extensive documentation (business registration, debarment checks, background checks, insurance, non‑collusion affidavits, affirmative‑action certifications, etc.). Proposals must be mailed or hand‑delivered by the deadline; electronic submission is not accepted. • Provide AT/AAC evaluations, recommendations, and ongoing support for students (preschool‑12). • Staff the effort with at least one licensed professional with ≥5 years of AT/AAC experience in school settings. • Deliver services on‑site, maintain required insurance limits, and fulfill all background‑check and certification obligations.

Budget estimate

$150,000 – $500,000

The RFP does not disclose a contract value. Based on typical district AT/AAC spending—roughly $150‑$300 per student case and an estimated 300‑500 eligible students per year—the annual budget could range from $45 K to $150 K. Over the potential three‑year term, this suggests a total contract value between $150 K and $500 K, depending on service volume, pricing structure (per case vs. hourly), and optional add‑on services.
