Marquee Signs for Abell, Alamo, and SJ

The Midland Independent School District (MISD) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the procurement and installation of new outdoor electronic marquee signs at three middle school campuses. The successful bidder will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including supplying the signs, foundations, poles, and all necessary electrical connections. The scope of work involves the installation of double-sided combination Info and Display Cabinet marquee signage at three middle school campuses, including demolition of existing changeable letter signs, demolition of concrete and asphalt pavements, installation of properly sized electrical conduits and feeders, cellular data connectivity, non-proprietary, open source PC based operating software, engineered foundation and anchorage, and other incidental components required to provide a complete and usable system. • The project entails the procurement and installation of new electronic marquee signs at Abell Junior High School, Alamo Junior High School, and San Jacinto Junior High School. • The installation schedule will be coordinated with each campus to minimize disruption and ensure safety. • The project must be completed within 90 calendar days of contract award. • The Contractor shall procure and maintain liability insurance coverage and workers' compensation and employers' liability insurance. • The Contractor shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MISD, its Board of Trustees, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liens, causes of action, suits, judgments, and expenses.
