Ramona Ave Water Main Replacement & Street Improvements Project (RE-BID)

The City of Chino Hills is seeking bids for the Ramona Ave Water Main Replacement & Street Improvements Project. The project includes the installation of a new 12" PVC C900 DR 14 water main, new fire hydrant installation, new water service lateral installation, removal of interfering portions of existing water main infrastructure, backfill and compaction, flushing, disinfection, and testing, asphalt reconstruction, sidewalk and driveway construction, fence and gate replacement, private property restoration, striping restoration, and monument preservation. The contractor must possess a valid Class A Contractor's license and have completed similar projects in the past. • The project requires a 10% bid bond, 100% performance bond, and 100% payment bond. • The contractor must pay not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established by the City Council. • The engineer's estimate for the project is $1.2M, and the working days are 90. • The contractor must have completed at least three projects of similar type and size within the last five years. • The bid documents are available for purchase for $20.00, and the plans and specs are available upon request.
