Description
The Gateway Unified School District is seeking qualifications and proposals from qualified providers of lease-leaseback construction services for the construction of a new classroom/administration building at Shasta Lake School. The project includes the construction of a two-story, approximately 16,000-SF educational facility, site improvements, and utility connections. The selected contractor will be responsible for preconstruction services, construction, and post-construction services. The contract will be awarded based on the best value to the district, considering factors such as qualifications, experience, and fee proposal.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Construction of a new two-story, approximately 16,000-SF educational facility
• Site improvements, including demolition of existing structures, grading, concrete and hardscape, ADA access, landscaping and irrigation, utility trenching and tie-ins, site lighting, shade structures, fencing, and signage
• Utility connections, including water, electricity, and gas
• Preconstruction services, including site evaluation, constructability review, and design/coordination meetings
• Post-construction services, including final cleaning, testing, and commissioning of systems
