On Call Towing Services

The City of Hartford is seeking proposals from qualified and licensed towing operators to provide on-call towing services on an as-needed basis. The selected operators will be required to provide towing services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. The services will include towing vehicles from posted "no parking" areas, removing disabled vehicles blocking traffic, clearing scenes following accidents, and providing emergency towing services. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for up to two additional years. The city intends to select not more than 12 operators to meet its needs.
