Expanding Care: Oklahoma RHTP Doula Program

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is seeking input from stakeholders with expertise and experience with doula and maternal health care to help inform the design and build out of the doula access expansion program. The goal of this RFI is to understand the landscape of programs / offerings across Oklahoma to minimize any potential duplication, refine the anticipated scope and estimated cost to deliver these programs, and better understand requirements for successful program deployment. • The program aims to expand access to doula care in rural Oklahoma, including prenatal and postpartum visits, by increasing the doula workforce and helping to remove barriers to access. • The program includes plans to execute on four distinct components to improve access to doula care for rural Oklahomans: expand training opportunities, provide education for expecting parents, build stronger partnerships between maternal health providers and doula providers, and facilitate peer community learning for doulas. • The RFI will close at 11:59pm on 05/08/2026, and registration is not required to submit a response.
