Description
The City of Lynchburg, Procurement Division is seeking bids for the turn-key installation of a new Kolpak Walk-In Cooler and its related components and accessories at Heritage Elementary School. The scope of work includes disconnecting, disassembling, and removing the existing cooler, recovering and disposing of refrigerant, and delivering and unloading the new cooler. The contractor must also examine the existing electrical service, make any necessary upgrades, and install the refrigeration systems. The project must be completed by August 12, 2026.
• The contractor must visit the job site to verify job conditions and determine the work to be done before bidding.
• The contractor must provide new, rather than used, goods and fresh stock.
• The contractor must comply with all local and national codes and have the work inspected and approved by City of Lynchburg code officials.
• The contractor must supply a construction dumpster and have access to the building Monday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
• The contractor must pull all necessary permits and have the project fully completed by the specified deadline.
