Description
The Village of North Chevy Chase, a small Maryland municipality, is seeking a qualified contractor to provide weekly curbside leaf removal for all streets within its 0.11 sq mi jurisdiction. Services begin on October 1, 2026 and run through December 31, 2028 (with two optional one‑year extensions). The contractor must collect and haul leaves each week, avoid debris such as sticks, trash, and rocks, and give special attention to storm‑drain diverters and bus stops. The vendor must propose a consistent weekly service day, provide an alternate day when weather prevents service, and submit detailed cost, equipment, experience, and three references. The contract will be awarded based on cost (40 %), experience (40 %), and references (20 %).
• Weekly leaf collection on every street, including sidewalk buffers on Kensington Parkway
• Service period: Oct 1 – Dec 31 each year (2026‑2028)
• No removal of sticks, trash, rocks; focus on leaves only
