Texas A&M AgriLife Research seeks a qualified vendor to design, fabricate, integrate, and commission a fully transportable electron‑beam (e‑beam) system capable of destroying per‑ and poly‑fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in municipal sewage sludge and soil sediments. The vendor will receive the agency‑provided 3 MeV, 13 kW linear accelerator and shielding, and must package the complete treatment system into one or more standard shipping containers, provide power, cooling, control, safety, and emissions‑control subsystems, and conduct factory acceptance testing, installation qualification, and operational qualification at the agency’s site. The effort includes detailed engineering design, procurement of critical components, assembly, testing, training, documentation, and a subcontracting plan that meets Texas VetHUB requirements.
• Design and detailed layout of a containerized e‑beam PFAS‑destruction system (including mechanical, electrical, control, and safety interfaces).
• Fabrication, integration, and testing of sub‑assemblies, plus provision of generator, cooling, and emissions‑control equipment.
• Delivery, installation, commissioning, and training at the agency’s location, with full documentation (as‑built drawings, O&M manuals, ICD, test reports).
• Compliance with insurance, subcontracting, federal‑funded‑project, and export‑control requirements; submission of a Subcontracting Plan and related certifications.
