Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting bids for the upgrade of the cooling‑tower and chiller plant at its Nashville VA Medical Center (Project 626‑24‑203). The scope includes demolition of existing equipment, installation of two new Marley cooling‑tower cells, associated structural platforms, new condenser‑water piping and pumps, a new chiller plant, electrical upgrades (ATS, VFDs, panelboards), fire‑stop, ICRA infection‑control measures, and full testing & commissioning. The work must be performed while the hospital remains operational, requiring night/weekend work, strict noise and vibration limits, and coordination with a Contracting Officer’s Representative. The contract will be awarded on a firm‑fixed‑price basis, with a 548‑day performance period.
