HVAC System Replacement & Ventilation Improvements for DPP in St. Thomas

The Department of Property and Procurement is seeking a qualified and licensed HVAC contractor to replace two existing centralized air conditioning systems and install two Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs) at the Printing Office in St. Thomas. The project includes demolition and removal of existing equipment, installation of new HVAC systems, refrigerant piping, ductwork modifications, and controls and electrical work. The contractor must also coordinate with an independent mold management contractor and provide a project schedule, equipment specifications, and a lump sum cost proposal. • The project requires replacement of two existing air conditioning systems with new systems utilizing R-454B or R-32 refrigerant. • The contractor must install two ERVs with a minimum capacity of 600 CFM each. • The project includes ductwork modifications to improve airflow distribution and sealing of duct connections to SMACNA standards. • The contractor must provide compatible thermostats and controls and integrate ERV operation with HVAC systems. • The project requires coordination with a licensed electrician if necessary and verification of proper breaker sizing and panel capacity.
