Wayfinding Signs

The City of Clinton is seeking a contractor to manufacture and install wayfinding signs as part of its new wayfinding system. The project includes the installation of 56 new signs, including vehicular guide signs, trailblazer signs, welcome ID signs, municipal signs, pedestrian kiosks, and parking guides. The contractor will be responsible for all excavation and concrete foundation work, furnishing and installing posts, and removing existing signs. The project is expected to start on July 1, 2026, and be completed by June 1, 2027. • The project includes the installation of 23 vehicular guide signs, 21 trailblazer signs, 1 welcome ID sign, 3 municipal signs, 5 pedestrian kiosks, and 3 parking guides. • The contractor must be compliant with current MUTCD standards and demonstrate experience with municipal wayfinding systems of similar scale. • The engineer's estimate for the project is $442,520. • The City Council will award the bid at their meeting on April 28, 2026. • The successful applicant must return the signed contract, bond, and agreement to comply with the City's Safety Manual by May 21, 2026.
