The Liberty Public School District #53 is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive Visitor Management System (VMS) and a Digital Hall Pass System (DHPS) for its secondary campuses. The solution must include both hardware (kiosks, scanners, thermal printers, RFID badges) and cloud‑based software that integrates with the district’s Student Information System (PowerSchool) and Google Single‑Sign‑On. The vendor is expected to deliver turnkey implementation, training, and ongoing support, with strong security, privacy, and accessibility features.
• VMS must scan all state and international IDs, perform real‑time sex‑offender and “no‑entry” list checks, issue expiring thermal badges, and support volunteer‑hour tracking.
• DHPS must enable students to request hall passes via any device, give teachers instant approval/denial, enforce encounter‑prevention rules, and provide live dashboards with emergency “global override”.
• Both systems must sync daily with SIS, meet FERPA, COPPA, SOPPA, and WCAG 2.1 compliance, and offer offline functionality.
