Description
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is soliciting bids for the repair of a 3-mile section of unpaved access road to Devil's River State Natural Area (Dan Hughes Unit) in Val Verde County, Texas. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to perform the access road repairs as specified in the contract documents. The project must be completed within 21 calendar days commencing on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed or Authorization to Proceed with Construction Activities.
• The contractor must attend a mandatory pre-bid site visit on March 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
• The contractor must provide a bid schedule with their bid, including a breakdown of the costs for rock milling, road base, and mobilization.
• The contractor must meet the minimum qualification and experience requirements set forth in the solicitation.
• The contractor must provide certificates of insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
