Description
The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is soliciting bids for rural airport maintenance in Fort Yukon, Alaska. The contract includes year-round summer and winter maintenance of the airport facility, including state-owned equipment, building structures, and roadways. The contractor will be responsible for coordinating with the airport manager and taking direction from them. The contract term is expected to be one year, and the budget for this ITB is $37,000.00 per service period.
• The contractor must be capable and experienced in operating heavy equipment and preferably have an aviation background.
• The contractor must submit a list of qualified personnel who will be operating equipment.
• The contractor must provide a list of equipment to be used for the sole purpose of performing this contract.
• The contractor must post their contact information in a readily visible location outside of the airport facility or local post office.
• The contractor must maintain a weekly report of current conditions and status to the airport manager.
