Life Insurance Services

The U.S. Embassy in Bangkok is seeking a contractor to provide group life insurance services to its locally employed staff in Thailand. The contract will be for a one-year period with four one-year options and one six-month option. The contractor will be responsible for providing life insurance coverage, including accidental death and dismemberment, and partial and total disability coverage. The contractor will also be responsible for handling claims and reimbursements to claimants. • The contract will be a fixed-price contract with economic-price-adjustment requirements. • The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to contract award. • The contractor must provide a document (brochure/pamphlet/other written document) in English and Thai that sets forth a complete listing of the life insurance benefits to be provided under this contract. • The contractor must maintain files for each covered employee, including receipts and proof of paid claims, requests for claim reimbursements, and accounting of paid benefits.
