Annual Contract for Mattress Materials

Tarrant County is seeking bids to establish an annual contract for mattress materials to make inmate mattresses. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. The materials required include cotton batting, inner cloth lining, and vinyl outer liner mattress ticking. The award will be based on the low bid meeting specifications, by package. The successful bidder will be required to provide all delivery, freight, travel, fuel, material, and service call costs in the unit pricing. • The contract requires the vendor to provide materials on an as-needed basis. • The vendor must be able to deliver orders as small as 80 bales per order for cotton batting, 2000 yards for inner cloth lining, and 8000 yards for blue vinyl. • The vendor must provide a warranty for the materials supplied. • The vendor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to insurance, safety, and environmental protection. • The vendor must provide a certificate of interested parties, as required by Texas law. • The vendor must not boycott Israel or discriminate against firearm and ammunition industries.
